Course Description:
During this interactive workshop, you will work alongside Kathleen to learn how to achieve a sharp cutting edge EVERY time.
Ultrasonic insert assessment and replacement will also be covered.
Learn strategies on how to streamline both your hand instruments and ultrasonic inserts and take control of what is on your tray!
Learning Objectives:
- Review the basic instrument design and intended purpose of a variety of instruments
- Learn a quick and easy manual sharpening method to attain and maintain the sharpest edge of your instruments
- Discover the evolution of dental hygiene instruments and what is new in technology
- Review how to assess your hygiene instruments and ultrasonic inserts
- Learn how to streamline your instrumentation cassettes based on the Classifications of Periodontal and Peri-Implant Diseases and Conditions
