Course Description:

Will this be the year you save a life?

A highly interactive, hands-on workshop designed to equip today’s dental hygienist with the skill set to recognize and identify the earliest warning signs of oral and oropharyngeal cancer. Through a guided visual journey of inspiring and moving oral and oropharyngeal cancer stories of both survivors and those who have lost their lives, learn the subtle life-saving symptoms and critical screening techniques that will increase our opportunity to save a life!

Breakout sessions will involve hands-on use of adjunctive screening devices, AirPlay mirroring of a live examination, and the review of palpation techniques both extraoral and intraoral, to ensure your practice is following current guidelines and providing the best possible opportunity for earlier discovery.    The integration and ability of teledentistry will be demonstrated to assess, capture, annotate and manage findings.

Join Jo-Anne Jones, recognized thought leader on the subject of oral and oropharyngeal cancer screening for a day that will change the way you screen for this disease.

Our patients are depending on us!
