Course Description:

This comprehensive 8-week NDHCE Preparation Course is designed to support dental hygiene graduates in building the knowledge, clinical reasoning, and test-taking skills required for success on the National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination. Through a structured review of key content areas, case-based learning, radiographic and pathology interpretation, and applied ADPIE throughout every session, participants will strengthen their ability to analyze client scenarios and make safe, evidence-informed decisions.

Each week integrates high-yield topics aligned with the NDHCE blueprint, including pharmacology, medical emergencies, oral pathology, radiography, periodontics, local anesthetics, instrumentation, ethics/jurisprudence, infection control, nutrition, clients with special needs, community health, and more! Learners will apply concepts through interactive discussions, clinical scenarios, and NDHCE-style questions with rationales. The course concludes with a full mock exam and guided review to help participants identify strengths and refine areas for improvement.

This course provides a supportive, engaging learning environment that encourages critical thinking, client-centred care and readiness for entry-to-practice competency.

Join Christine for these interactive, informative, and confidence building sessions, where focusing on decision-making and clinical reasoning is a priority.  Let’s train your exam brain!
